College life is definitely different than high school, although they share a few similarities. When talking about the differences though, it gets much deeper than the workload. While I had actually experienced intensive reading and writing in highschool, it still is not the same. Maybe it is the fact that this time around I am on my own, away from my family, closest friends; away from the environment that I had grown to feel comfortable around, “my world.” Also the fact that in college you are considered and treated as an adult, and as such you are given more important responsibilities. In spite of all of those factors though, I honestly expect to do well in my classes. Throughout my school career I have always been a focused student, and considered fairly reliable by my teachers. I do not see those qualities changing just because I am in college. While I have high expectations, it does not mean that I never get scared. There have been moments were stress and frustration have gotten the best of me, but I have been able to come out of it through the support of my faith and family.
